Somewhere right now, a child is missing a family—a mother, a brother—because of an earthquake, a flood, riots, or even simple abandonment. This child is lost, lonely, and afraid, with nowhere to go and no one to turn to, losing hope. You might have seen these children, shivering on cold nights on footpaths, begging for alms at traffic signals, exploited and abused. This painful reality moved our founding managing trustee, Mr. Renjith George, a computer engineering student at the time, to start this noble initiative with a few other like-minded students who believed in the virtue of humanity above all else.
