Millet Flour Brownies are a healthy recipe prepared with The Fresh Start Wellness Cafe's Finger Millet Flour (Ragi Flour), cocoa powder, oil, powdered sugar, milk, baking powder, vanilla essence, almonds, cashew nuts, and other simple ingredients. Rich in dietary fibre and essential nutrients, they make a delicious and satisfying dessert while incorporating the wholesome goodness of millet.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup millet flour
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm milk
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon almonds, cut into thin slices
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon cashew nuts, chopped into small pieces
  • 6 inch cake tin

Instructions

Step 1

Use The Fresh Start Wellness Cafe's Finger Millet Flour (Ragi Flour) for this recipe.
In a large, dry bowl, stir together the sugar, milk, and cocoa powder.Mix oil in it also.At this time, take some milk and make a dough. The remaining milk has to be used later.

Now mix sieved millet flour and baking powder in it and also mix vanilla essence.

Now mix lukewarm milk in it and make a smooth thick paste.Now use all the milk that was left.

Chop almonds and cashews.Place a stand in a pan and heat it.

Grease the cake tin with oil and before pouring this batter into the tin, add half chopped almonds and cashews and mix.

Place the cake tin in a hot pan, cover it with a plate and let it bake for 40 minutes.After pouring the batter into the cake tin, sprinkle the remaining almonds and cashews on top.

I checked after 40 minutes and baked for 5-7 more minutes because it was slightly damp. After the knife test, turn off the heat, remove it, and let it cool. Once cool, demould it. Use a knife to pierce it.
