Foxtail Millet Nut Laddu

About this recipe

Foxtail millet nut laddu is a wholesome, traditional sweet prepared by blending roasted foxtail millet flour with a mix of nutritious nuts, natural sweeteners like jaggery, and a touch of ghee, resulting in a rich, aromatic, and mildly crunchy delicacy.

These laddus are not only delicious but also highly nourishing, as foxtail millet is rich in dietary fiber, plant-based protein, and essential minerals such as iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. The low glycemic index of foxtail millet helps in maintaining steady blood sugar levels, making it a healthier alternative to refined flour-based sweets. Additionally, it supports digestive health, promotes heart health by helping reduce bad cholesterol, and provides sustained energy. When combined with nuts, the laddu becomes a power-packed snack that boosts immunity, improves metabolism, and is suitable for people seeking a balanced, gluten-free, and nutritious dessert option.
