About This Recipe

Millet fried rice with broccoli methi and peas

Millet fried rice with broccoli, methi, and peas is a colorful, wholesome, and flavorful one-pot meal prepared by stir-frying cooked millets with fresh vegetables, aromatic spices, and light seasoning, offering a nutritious alternative to regular rice fried rice. The nutty texture of millets pairs well with the crunch of broccoli, the earthy flavor of methi leaves, and the natural sweetness of green peas, making the dish both tasty and satisfying.

Millets are rich in dietary fiber, plant-based protein, and essential minerals like iron and magnesium, helping regulate blood sugar levels and provide sustained energy. Broccoli adds antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber that support immunity and digestion; methi aids blood sugar control and gut health; and peas contribute protein and micronutrients. Together, this dish is naturally gluten-free, heart-friendly, supportive of weight management, and ideal for maintaining overall health while enjoying a delicious, balanced meal.
