Cheese Jau Pancake is a healthy multi-grain pancake made using ragi and barley flour along with fresh ingredients and aromatic spices. Ingredients

  1. 1 cup ragi flour / finger millet / kezhvaragu / nachani / mandua
  2. 1/2 cup jau ka aata (Barley flour)
  3. 1/2 cup rava / semolina / suji
  4. 1/2 cup rice flour
  5. 1/2 cup curd / yogurt
  6. 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
  7. 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  8. Few curry leaves chopped
  9. 2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  10. 1 onion finely chopped
  11. 1 tsp cumin
  12. 1/2 tsp pepper crushed
  13. 1 tsp salt
  14. 3 1/2 cup water (as required)
  15. Oil for Roasting
  16. 1/2 cup boiled corn
  17. Cheese as required

Instructions

Step 1

Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 1 cup ragi flour,1/2 cup jau ka aata 1/2 cup rava, ½ cup rice flour.
also add ½ cup curd, 1 inch ginger, 1 green chilli, few curry leaves, 2 tbsp coriander, 1 onion, 1 tsp cumin, ½ tsp pepper and 1 tsp salt.
ad 1-2 cup water and mix well to form a lump free batter.
rest the batter for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Add1½ cups of water or as required and prepare a flowing consistency batter.
now carefully pour the pancake batter over hot tawa.

Step 3

Sprinkle few corn, cheese and 1 tsp of oil from the top.
once the pancake roasts to golden brown, flip over and cook.

Step 4

Finally, millet pancake is Ready.. serve with chutney and sauce.
