Ingredients

  1. 2 cup foxtail millet
  2. 1/2 cup urad dal
  3. 3 green chillies
  4. leaves Curry
  5. 1 teaspoon salt
  6. 3 table spoon oil
  7. 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  8. 1/2 teaspoon urad dal
  9. 1 teaspoon chana dal
  10. 1 onion
  11. tomato
  12. Curry leaves
  13. Coriander leaves

Instructions

Step 1

Take foxtail millet and urad dal. Clean and soak into plain water for three hours.

Then transfer to a mixer jar,add little water,grind it into a fine batter.

Pour the batter into a big bowl. seasoning with mustard,urad dal, chana dal, chopped onion, tomato, curry leaves and coriander leaves,add it into the foxtail millet batter and add salt. Mix it well.

Keep a paniyaram tawa on medium heat, add oil into the mould. Pour the batter into each mould. Let it cook for two minutes,flip it into the other side,and cook till it turns golden brown.

Remove and transfer to a serving plate. Serve it hot with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.
