Kodo Biryani is a nourishing one-pot meal made using kodo millet and colorful vegetables blended with rich flavors and traditional seasonings. Ingredients

  1. 1 cup kodo
  2. Water as per requireme
  3. 3 tb spoon ghee
  4. 1 tb spoon chopped capsicum
  5. 1 TB spoon chopped onion
  6. 1 tb spoon chopped carrot
  7. 1 tb spoon chopped potato
  8. 1 tb spoon chopped green chilli
  9. 1 tb spoon peas
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. 1/4 spoon turmeric powder
  12. 1 tb spoon chopedcabbage
  13. 1 bay leaf
  14. 1 cinnamon stick
  15. 1 spoon butter
  16. Coriander for garnish

Instructions

Step 1

Soak kodo for 10 mintute. Then put ghee in cooker the add cinnamon stick jeera bayleaf.

Step 2

Then add all vegetables.

Add one by one.

Then add salt and turmeric powder.

Then add water and butter.

Then add kodo and cook and and cooker with 1 whistle. Serve hot with coriander garnish in plate.
