Millet Pancakes is a healthy recipe prepared with jowar flour, semolina, chickpea flour (besan), curd, ginger, green chilli, sesame seeds, cumin, mustard seeds, spices, and other wholesome ingredients. Rich in dietary fibre, protein, vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients, it provides a nourishing and satisfying breakfast or snack option while delivering the wholesome goodness of millets in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Jowar flour
  • 1/2 cup Semolina
  • 3 tablespoon besan (chickpea flour)
  • 1 /2 tsp Green chili paste
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 3/4 cup Curd (yogurt)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 80 ml Water
  • 2 tsp (for cooking) Oil
  • 1 sachet ENO

Instructions

Step 1

In a bowl, mix jowar flour, semolina, besan, chili, ginger paste, masala, and salt.

Step 2

Add curd and water. Stir to make a smooth batter.Rest for 1 hour.add ENO for rising.

Heat a non-stick pan and brush with oil.

Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently.

Cook on medium heat until golden, flip, and cook the other side.

Serve hot with tomato ketchup or Gujarati pickle Golkeri.
