Nachni (Raagi) Oatmeal and Nut Biscuits is a healthy recipe prepared with ragi flour, oatmeal, mixed nuts, whole wheat flour, natural sweeteners, and other wholesome ingredients. Rich in calcium, dietary fibre, protein, healthy fats, and essential nutrients, it provides a nourishing and satisfying snack option while delivering a delicious blend of nutty flavours and wholesome goodness in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ragi flour
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup oats powder
  • 1/2 cup (Less 1 tbsp) Ghee (Tup)
  • 3/4 Cup jaggery powder
  • 1 tablespoon crushed cashew nuts
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

Step 1

Mix all flours and oat powder in a mixing bowl.

Step 2

Add ghee and rub with fingers to make crumbly texture.

Step 3

Add cashews, cardamon, salt baking powder, jaggery powder and mix with hands. Do not knead the dough just bring it together.

Step 4

Add milk little by little making pliable consistency of the dough.

Step 5

Make small balls and press with palm or roll small batch and cut with cookie cutter.

Step 6

Bake in a preheated oven @ 160 degree Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes.
Important notes : You can use any other nuts like Almonds, walnuts in crushed form

Preheat oven at the rate 160 degree Celsius for 15 minutes.

Step 8

Preheat time may differ from oven to Oven.
