Raagi Idli is a healthy recipe prepared with ragi flour, idli rice, urad dal, fenugreek seeds, and other wholesome ingredients. Rich in calcium, dietary fibre, protein, and essential nutrients, it provides a light, nourishing, and easily digestible meal option while delivering the wholesome goodness of ragi in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rice
  • 1 cup udad daal
  • 1 cup raagi flour
  • To taste salt
  • as required water
  • Pinch soda bi carb

Instructions

Step 1

Wash udad daal and rice with water properly and soak them in water separately for at least 8 hours or overnight.

Step 2

Grind them using mixer jar to a smooth paste. Combine it well. Now leave it for fermentation for again 6-8 hrs.

Step 3

After it gets fermented, add raagi flour and mix it properly.

Step 4

Add salt to taste, soda bi carbon and mix properly. Pour the batter in idli tray and steam it for 10-15 minutes.

Step 5

Unmould it. It's ready to serve. Serve it, with coconut chutney.
