Sorghum (Jowar) Flour Dhokla is a nutritious recipe prepared with jowar flour, gram flour, curd, ginger, green chillies, fruit salt, and other wholesome ingredients. Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1-1/2 cup sorghum flour
  • 1/2 cup besan
  • 1/2 cup Methi leaves
  • 1 tsp coriander chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 pinch hing
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

Instructions

Step 1

Take a big bowl ;add everything in it & mix well see in pic.

Step 2

Make soft dough with water ; cover & keep aside for 10 minutes. Apply little oil on your palm & make small / medium size dhokla ; make hole with finger in middle (you can see in pic).

Step 3

Now heat steamer / idli stand with water, grease the idli plate & put dhokla in it for 17-18 minutes to steam.

Step 4

Remove in a plate & pour generous amount of ghee on top.

Serve with ghee + boora sugar + green chutney. Enjoy in your breakfast.
